Rev Jon Young Dixon

Non-Denominational Minister: 'We are all children of the same universe...'

Born in New Jersey, Jon is the child of two theater actors.  He later moved to New York State and during the early nineties, after studying and completing a counselor internship program, given through an accredited private facility, Jon worked in the field of chemical dependency as a counselor for a city agency.

After graduating with honors from Bryant & Stratton College he moved to Massachusetts where he has resided for the last sixteen years.

In 1994, shortly after moving to Massachusetts, he was introduced to earth based spirituality exposing him to a sense of the spiritual and inclusiveness that resonated and spoke to him in a way that he had not experienced before, yet it somehow felt familiar.

Since then, Jon continues to practice an earth based spirituality and the combination of that and his recent studies of comparative religion have served to help form his world and political views; especially, but not limited to, areas concerning the environment, sustainable agricultural practices, and fair trade.

Ordained through the Universal Life Monastery, Jon works in partnership with his wife Pamela as Co-Pastor of the Chalice Well Fellowship Temple, based in Berkshire Massachusetts.
